Review by hotel critic
As a Spanish chef with a discerning palate, my stay at Hostal del Carmen was a delightful culinary escape. The unexpected large terrace offered a charming setting to savor Andalusian delights, while the local vibe of the restaurant downstairs and the friendly staff enhanced the overall experience. My friend indulged in a leisurely 6-hour affair of tapas and beer for a mere 25 Euros, truly immersing in the essence of Spanish gastronomy. The room service was impeccable, catering to our every need, making us feel right at home in this cozy inn. The private bathroom with a luxurious bath or shower was a welcome retreat after a day of exploring. The quaint charm of the inn, coupled with modern amenities like free WiFi, air conditioning, and a flat-screen TV in each room, provided a perfect blend of comfort and convenience. The cultural highlights nearby, such as CosmoCaixa and the Museum of Sport Doctor Melcior Colet, added a touch of intellectual stimulation to our retreat. We took full advantage of the terrace, bar, and restaurant, indulging in delectable dishes that exemplified the rich tapestry of Spanish cuisine. In conclusion, Hostal del Carmen surpassed expectations, offering a harmonious blend of culinary delights, warm hospitality, and cozy accommodations. Whether you're a solo traveler seeking a gastronomic adventure or a couple looking for a romantic escape, this hidden gem in Spain is sure to delight your senses and nourish your soul.Alejandro Martínez, Spanish Chef\Validator of Gastronomic Delights.
